I'm back...just when you thought you were safe. Yes the trip was fun. I really like Corpus. Its much like Galveston I must say. Small, but big enough to have some attractions to keep you entertained. The Aqurium looked really awesome...Padme told me they had penguins. I guess I have gained a new respect for peguins ever since the movie "March of the Penguins." Padme's grandmother was also very very nice. She reminds me a lot of my grandmother...except when she yells she isn't as scary.

They also have very large bridges in Corpus...its rather frighting.

I must say though the highlight of the trip was taking the ferry across the river thing to get to the beach. You got the drive your car on the ship and you were moving although you weren't at the same time. Very highly amusing to me for some reason. The beach was nice too, very sandy. The sand was black at parts and I think I enjoyed it most because it was warm like bath water for one. (Michigan's water is so dang cold until August!) Also it had a really shallow shoreline so you could walk for a good hundred yards before it started getting deep. Just put a chair on the side and sit and read. Very realxing.

Although...seeing santa at the gas station was pretty amusing as well. I must say that it was a funny ending to a fun trip. The car ride wasn't that bad...I wrote a 42 pages script the whole way there and back.

(Which by the way I presented my script today. What a distaster that was. Unfortunitly, action flicks don't read well on paper...so a lot of my classmates were bored with it and I felt bad for them. I worked really hard on it though and though that some of them were being inconsiderate with their sighing and their moving about. I mean come on it couldn't be as bad as the "Hollar boys" from blackberry bottom. Jeez...I tried and it was apparent that I usually don't write action flicks. oh well...its over now.)

shop for new clothes.....I need pants...
find out where the hell I am living next year

stop my teeth from hurting

Things to do for next summer:
Take a trip! I want to take a road trip with out my parents and go to Galveston or maybe even corpus again. Just friends and memories. Ohhhh maybe san antonio or something. Hehehe...hopefully gas prices will let me though...

Get Padme drunk for her 21st...her mom says no but HECK she doesn't have to know!! ^.~
